Metro Systems Corporation Public Company Limited (MSC), together with leading technology partners GitLab, Nutanix and Commvault, hosted “Metro Forge 2026” under the theme “Build. Run. Protect. Forging the Modern Enterprise” on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Sukhumvit 2, JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. The event aimed to share approaches to preparing organizations for the Modern Digital & AI-Ready Enterprise and applying technology in ways that align with their business objectives.

Throughout the event, MSC shared knowledge in software development, infrastructure and cybersecurity through expert sessions, real-world experiences and a Technology Showcase, giving organizations a clearer view of how modernization can be approached systematically. Participants also had the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas with experts from MSC and its technology partners and explore approaches that could be adapted to the needs of their organizations.

Build: Advancing Software Development and Delivery with AI

The session “Build: AI-Powered Software Delivery”, presented by Prapatsri Piyachaiwut, DevOps Enterprise Platform Product Manager at Get On Technology, covered GitLab’s approach to using AI to support software development and delivery through DevSecOps, bringing development, security and operations together to improve agility from the initial idea through to deployment.

Run: Preparing Infrastructure for Applications and AI

The session “Run: Modern Infrastructure for Apps & AI”, presented by Thanomsak Chantree, Manager – Channel Systems Engineer at Nutanix (Thailand), covered approaches to modernizing infrastructure to support applications and AI workloads, as well as managing Hybrid Multicloud environments through an integrated platform. This enables organizations to plan for system scalability while reducing the complexity of infrastructure management.

Protect: Strengthening Data Protection and Recovery from Cyber Threats

The session “Protect: Building Cyber Resilience”, presented by Kenny Ooi, Principal Consultant at Commvault, covered approaches to data protection and recovery, as well as preparation for cyber incidents, to support business continuity alongside the adoption of new technologies.

During “AI in Action: Real-World Modernization Stories,” Putthasak Kanhadilok, Senior Presales Manager at MSC, shared case studies and experiences in applying technology to enterprise modernization, helping participants see the connection between business requirements and the selection of appropriate solutions.

In addition, MSC experts shared how the Build, Run and Protect concepts can be brought together as part of a modernization plan that organizations can adapt to their business context and level of readiness. The session “Forge Your Modernization Roadmap,” presented by Natdanai Wittayasirikul, Senior System Engineer Manager at MSC, covered approaches to improving IT systems efficiently and building confidence in moving forward with MSC’s services.

Metro Forge 2026 reflects MSC’s role in bringing together technology expertise and solutions from its partners with business needs to support organizations in building a structured foundation for the Modern Digital & AI-Ready Enterprise.
